Spring Giveaway

I’ve been pretty quiet around here lately, because, well, winter froze my brain, I think. It’s been a cold one. But, if you know me at all, you know I love spring. LOVE spring. Crazy about it. Seriously crazy. Spring cleaning like mad. Redecorating. Changing out faux-fur for floral-print. I even put away my daughter’s favourite winter sofa-napping blanket, to much gnashing of teeth because I don’t want to look at one more thing to remind me of feeling frozen. (Not to worry, I replaced it with an equally cozy, but more seasonally-appropriate, blanket.)

It might be that Spring seems a long time coming where I live here in Southwestern Ontario, but the shaking off of winter seems like this annual revival of all things fresh and alive, including me. And it makes me want to celebrate.

I’ve got the spring itch (my pansies will be in the ground as soon as I can convince a greenhouse to sell them to me) and it feels like a birthday party for the world, so why not give away presents to celebrate? (I love gifts almost as much as spring!)
